PLANNED PARENTHOOD’S ONLY PROBLEM BRANDING? ACORDING TO THEM IT IS!
A Planned Parenthood video has been uncovered by Pro-Life groups according to LifeNews.com in which Karl Eastlund, President of Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, explains that because the organization is a non-profit that they haven’t spent enough time and money on their image.
In other words, he thinks they have a branding problem and nothing more. Never mind the fact that many Americans are principled in their opposition to abortion as a birth control measure and that they are the nation’s largest provider of these services. No, just a marketing problem…

About midway through the video it transitions to women’s reproductive rights and social justice. Justice according to dictionary.com is:
1. the quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness: to uphold the justice of a cause.
2. rightfulness or lawfulness, as of a claim or title; justness of ground or reason: to complain with justice.
3. the moral principle determining just conduct.
4. conformity to this principle, as manifested in conduct; just conduct, dealing, or treatment.
5. the administering of deserved punishment or reward.
Nowhere in this long held definition of justice is the words fairness but moral conduct and the pro-life crowd believes that abortion is an immoral act and therefore injustice. There is no amount of marketing that is going to change the fact that they promote, believe in and conduct abortion.
What I discovered about Encarta’s definition of justice is a bit different, take a look; they added this definition: fairness or reasonableness, especially in the way people are treated or decisions are made.
Fairness isn’t justice and we must be clear of the difference: Justice is an operation of principles where fairness is an act of emotion. For example fairness says that if someone makes more money than you, you should be entitled to a portion of their wealth but the principle of justice states that theft is wrong and won’t be tolerated from anyone.
And I would ask every Planned Parenthood supporter of fairness only one question; how is it fair that you were given a chance at life but you decide to steal that chance from an innocent child who can’t even speak for itself?
