ALLEN WEST TAKES ANOTHER STAND AGAINST RADICAL ISLAM BY JOINING THOMAS MORE LAW CENTER
Congressman Allen West has become well known in recent months for his plain speech. At times, he is at odds with both sides of the isle because he doesn’t mince his words, an admirable trait for a Congressman. Because most in Washington seem to lack the backbone not to be politically correct; not Mr. West, he is an unapologetic spokesman in defending the Constitution, against political correctness and even against radical Islam.
Now Congressman Allen West takes his statements about radical Islam and turns them into action by joining the Thomas More Law Center as an advisory board member. The law center is a non-profit organization that, according to their website, is on a “mission is to restore and defend America’s Judeo-Christian heritage and moral values, and to preserve a strong national defense, and a free and sovereign United States of America.” A concept we share here at The Christian Republic.
In his accepting comments West said:
“I know that the Thomas More Law Center is aggressively advancing in courtrooms throughout America the same principles I fought for as a soldier for 22 years, and what I’m fighting for now as a Congressman. I support their mission and I am honored to serve on their Advisory Board, which is chaired by a true American hero, retired Admiral Jeremiah Denton.”
“What impressed me about the Law Center is that it knows the true threat to our nation posed by radical Islam and it has initiated and funded more cases challenging the Stealth Jihad being waged against our Nation than any other public interest law firm in America.”
Commentary: As Americans, whether we want to admit it or not, we’ve been infiltrated by groups that want the destruction of our way of life. The Muslim Brotherhood has found its way into influential positions within our government and is white washing Islam as we speak.
The goal of these groups is to wipe out Christianity and to make America an Islamic State. Those within our government and other socialist and communist factions of our society have teamed up in a dangerous alliance with these radical Islamic groups to end capitalism and replace it with a more oppressive form of government.
That being said, I don’t fear these groups but I do fear that far too many Christians and Americans are dismissing the real dangers of the intent of this alliance. I don’t want to be the watchman screaming from the towers, but I have children and I want to leave them a free Christian nation and my prayer is that you do too.
